Hi!
I’m Jeanne McDermott, owner and Chief Designer at Virtual Design 4 Interiors.
As the owner of At Your Service, a drapery workroom in the Boston area for over 15 years, I was always searching for the best way to communicate with my clients.
I discovered my passion for computer programs and have developed this into a service for designers and workrooms to help them convey their ideas in a fast and efficient way.
My years of experience of the interior design process from concept and measuring to procurement and installation gives me the ability to understand complicated design concepts and offer solutions in addition to translating the design vision. Saving both time and money, our service creates an environment of confidence between designer and client that the project will look (and feel) as presented.
Some of my personal interests include:
Yawkee Family Inn – created renderings for the whole house renovation and (with a group of many talented drapery workroom owners) fabricated all the window treatments in the home.
Teaching the craft of sewing to students young and old
Big Sister of Boston – big sister for many years
ESL teacher – taught English in a community program for new citizens
Travel, sewing, photography and cooking
